Nora Hourigan (1927 - 2015) This week's (week 40) book article suggested for reading is a tribute to Nora Hourigan (The Old Road, Lower Grange), written by Nora's family. Nora, a native of Kilworth, Co Cork, married Grange man James (Jimmy) Hourigan in July 1962. Following her marriage, she relocated to Lower Grange, where she spent the remainder of her life. Nora and James had five children. James died in 1996, and Nora passed away in 2015, aged eighty eight. Nora is missed

We might have to pinch ourselves for a while until the reality fully sinks in! Limerick are the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions for 2018! The party has begun and will continue for some time to come - deservedly so. What a magnificent bunch of young and fearless men whose stylish hurling, resilience, composure and self-belief secured the Liam McCarthy Cup for Limerick after a 45-year drought. Dan Dillon and Tony Houlihan, Rest in Peace
I met Moira Dillon yesterday at the Funeral Mass for Tony Barry, RIP, at Fedamore Church. Until Moira told me, I hadn't known that the Dillon family of Grange lost two family members in recent times. Dan Dillon of Cashel and Grange passed away on 31st January at South Tipperary General Hospital, and Tony Houlihan of Newcastlewest and Adare, a young man in his 40s, son of Breda Dillon and Tommy Houlihan, passed away at the Milford Care Centre on 5th February after a brief illn
